I could have sworn a year ago
I knew just when you were

My mom forgot, we checked the spots

You’re nowhere to be found
We still are going round

It’s wintertime, it’s time to show
Candles in the window
Latkes on a plate
All my family members
Come together on these days
But what am I to tell them?
If you cannot be found?
It seems not only Dreidels
Are falling down down down
I swear every year I find you
You disappear again
But I will keep on searching
For Hanukah my friend
Are you hiding
What a fun game
Couldn’t wonder why
Someone told me years ago
Something about the moon and the sky
